We love using advanced hop products, so we decided to pick one of our favorite hop varietals and apply some of our favorite products into a Hazy IPA. We use a lot of Citra, so we saw it fitting to start there. Our Citra lot this year comes from Jackson Farms in Idaho, and it has a beautiful sweet tangerine note that sets the stage in the whirlpool, then we layered in a bunch of Citra Incognito, and double dry-hopped with our new Idaho Citra, Citra Cryo, and Abstrax Citra Quantum Brite.
I found myself in a lonely frontier saloon, its name changing as often as the wind. Travelers spoke in hushed tones over golden ales, each tale steeped in distant lands and strange harvests. The barkeep swore every pour carried the spirit of the place it came from.
