The Manilite Hopstone DDH Hazy IPA

It's no secret that we love New Zealand terroir around here, so when we got the opportunity to try something new from our friends at Freestyle Hops, we went all in. Manilita is a newer varietal known for its intense tropical grapefruit and red berry quality. We used all of the Manilita in a dry hop with a bit of Citra, on top of the whirlpool that we loaded with Citra and Motueka. This fruit bomb is packed with unique aroma and finishes just dry enough to keep you coming back for another sip.

“I saw her by firelight, Lenora Vale, her necklace aglow with a stone they called

Manilite, said to be a fossilized Manilita hop veined in gold. Its scent, sweet berries and wild bloom, drew men like moths to her flame. A young miner, new to town, followed her into the desert, dazed by her gaze and that intoxicating aroma. I called out, but he never turned. Only she did -- smiling, then vanishing into the desert. They say the stone grants bliss before death. I still smell the aroma when the wind shifts.”
