Once Buried Tmavé Pivo

Our first Tmave Pivo, which means "dark beer" in Czech, is the newest installment in our lager program. We started with a base of Floor Malted Bohemian Pilsner, then layered in some European specialty malts to achieve the color and complexity we were looking for. This Czech Style Dark Lager showcases the richness of these malts, while retaining an incredibly easy drinking lager experience.
ONCE BURIED LEGEND
“On one excursion, I camped at the back of a canyon wall. I settled my horse Wilde and lit a small fire to stay warm. As I sat alone looking off into the dark of night, I heard some very faint knocks, scratches, and bumps. I drew my pistol, grabbed a torched branch from the fire and forged into the direction of the noises. After some aimless chasing of the muffled sounds, I came upon a fresh mound of dirt clearly covering a shallow grave. The knocks came louder and more frequently... from beneath the earth. I started brushing away the dirt beneath my feet, then frantically removed the shallow layer of dirt to reveal a decrepit wooden coffin. Knocks turned into thumps. I pried the lid open only to have a ghastly woman pop out of the coffin with pistols drawn, aimed directly at my head.”
