We are stoked to have hosted some of the best in the game, Wren House Brewing, and Freestyle Hops for this year's 8th anniversary Hazy IPA! We got our hands on Freestyle's new Waimea Cold Pressed Hop Juice, which is a fresh hop version of their incredible Sub-Zero Hop Kief, and we dosed at our highest rate yet. We used Rakau in the whirlpool, then double dry-hopped excessively with Nelson Sauvin, and more Rakau on top of the Hop Juice.

"Eight years. I’ve written that number in the margins of this journal so many times it’s started to look like a spell. Today the desert answered back. Out past the last stubborn saguaro, I found him: a sidewinder, coiled neat as an 8 on the open sand, patient as a gambler who already knows the turn of the card. Beside him sat a sun-bleached skull—no name left on it, just the clean reminder that the Territory keeps receipts.
The snake didn’t strike. He watched. Like he was guarding something that couldn’t be buried, only remembered. I marked the spot and poured a little beer into the dust—Octavo Año, our eighth-year toast. Not a funeral, not a victory lap. More like a vow: we’re still here, still brewing, still telling the story the desert tried to swallow."
