Animal Education - December 1

5:30pm and 6:30pm

Modern-Day Dinosaurs with Attitudes... Lizards!

Ranger Amy Returns!

That's right! Ranger Amy is returning to the Bone Haus with her compelling and very popular animal education presentations on Tuesday December 1 but in a completely new format! This will be a ticketed event and will occur outside on our side patio over 2 sessions, one at 5:30pm and another at 6:30pm. Your $10 ticket includes a donation to Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center and a pint of your choice. We are moving to a ticketed multi-event format to limit attendance in order to be properly socially distanced. Don't worry kids are free with a paid adult ticket and you were going to get a pint anyway, right?! Ranger Amy and Bone Haus also want to support our wildlife and we really believe in what Southwest Wildlife is doing so please consider donating to them!

The December 1 topic is:

Modern-day dinosaurs with attitudes... Lizards!

From chuckwallas that gulp air to expand their waistlines to horned toads that shoot blood from their eyes (yes, really), we don't deserve lizards. Arizona boasts an amazing diversity of these mini-dinosaurs, including the country's only venomous reptile, the Gila monster. Ranger Amy will have several live "dinosaurs" on hand so you can admire their scaly personalities up close.
